Williamsburg, KY – Hunter’s Edge Archery Team known as “The Heat” hosted a Wisconsin S3DA Indoor Regional Tournament in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Heat has been a staunch supporter of the S3DA program and has hosted multiple events for Wisconsin S3DA over the past few years. Their indoor shooting range brings in archers of various ages and skill levels. Archers representing sixteen teams across the state competed in this tournament for a chance to podium and qualify for the upcoming Wisconsin S3DA Indoor State Championship.
Wisconsin S3DA State Coordinator, Scott Fuchs said, “The HEAT hosted a great shoot at a wonderful facility. The HEAT does a great job keeping the mood light and making their events fun for the archers and spectators. We had another strong showing in number of archers and the scores continue to impress.”
Mark Love (Coach of The HEAT & Event Organizer) said, “It has been awesome watching the continued growth of the S3DA program in Wisconsin. Our regional event today, with 70 participants, is a good example of that growth.”
“This was a well-ran event! Always a pleasure to see these kids give it their all, and the support of teammates between ends is amazing. I’m looking forward to the continued growth of the sport,” stated parent, Matt List.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery
Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic
3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
