ACCOKEEK, MD - This week's Benelli Presents Duck Commander changes scenery and travels to a new location. During Louisiana's two-week split in the duck season, the Duckmen plan a combo deer/duck hunt with Willie's Buck Commander group in Texas. Willie forgets one little detail that presents a much bigger problem - the Texas duck season is closed at that time. Phil takes charge and makes finding huntable ducks a top priority for the Duckmen. They receive a call from an old friend in Kansas that says the ducks are flying by the thousands and for them to get there right now! So they pack up the RV and go to see for themselves. When they reach their destination, everyone's delighted to find that their friend was right and sleep was difficult, anticipating the morning's hunt.
The next morning when the first flock of greenheads funnels into the decoys, Phil is overwhelmed by the majestic beauty. He is in such awe that he decides to enjoy the moment without shooting. With so many ducks in the sky nobody thinks to pull the trigger, but you can be sure there are no slack-jaws when the second group of ducks cup their wings at treetop level. Watch this week's episode and see spectacular footage of mallards coming to flooded timber in Kansas, offering a duck hunter's dream come true.
