Nation's fastest-growing outdoors retailer to re-open remodeled Binghamton-area store

The Johnson City store is a 48,000 square-foot facility located at 528 Harry L Drive, just off the Southern Tier Expressway at exit 70. Gander Mountain first opened in Johnson City in 2004, but the store closed in the fall of 2011 as a result of flooding when a tropical storm brought heavy rain to the region. The exterior design and interior layout of the store will reflect many elements of Gander Mountain's new store prototype, featuring innovative interior design, displays and fixtures. Gander Mountain is expected to bring as many as 70 jobs to the community as a result of the reopening.
