Gander Mountain in Killeen will be located in a new 45,600-square-foot store on East Central Texas Expressway, between West Trimmier Road and Athens Street. It will be the 20th Gander Mountain location in Texas, joining existing stores in Amarillo, Beaumont, College Station, Corsicana, Houston, Lewisville, Lubbock, Mesquite, Round Rock, San Antonio, Sherman, Spring, Sugar Land, Texarkana, Tyler, a newly-opened store in Arlington, new stores coming to West Houston, Waco and Lake Worth in the fall and a new store coming to El Paso in the spring of 2015.
