San Diego based startup: Bixpy LLC, has created the first portable and modular hand-held water-jet propulsion system, that can propel SUPs, kayaks, canoes and even divers and snorkelers

Kayakers, standup paddle boarders, divers and watersports enthusiasts can now enjoy their adventures further, faster and with more confidence and security by using the world's first and only portable handheld water-jet propulsion system: The Bixpy Jet™.

Weighing about 2lb (1kg), the Bixpy Jet™ generates enough thrust to drive a full-size kayak or SUP and its occupants up to 7 MPH (11km/h), with a range of 10 to 15 miles (15 to 25 km) on one battery charge.

The Bixpy Jet™ uses the latest in technology and material science to get you maximum output from their lithium-ion battery packs. Additionally, the motors and all of the accessories are saltwater resistant for use in any body of water.

For the first time, the company will be displaying the Bixpy Jets at iCAST 2017 at booth 122 and will offer special deals to dealers during the show.
