Call of Africa's Native Visions Galleries Donates to SCI Foundation in Support of Wildlife Conservation.
Tucson, AZ – Warren A. Sackman, III, President, Safari Club International Foundation announced today that Call of Africa's Native Visions Galleries has once again chosen to make a significant donation in support of SCI Foundation and its mission by generously donating to the 2018 Beretta and SCI Foundation Conservation Leadership Award Gala live and silent auctions.
This year, Call of Africa's Native Visions Galleries has donated two paintings by world renowned artists Kim Donaldson and Claire Naylor. Donaldson's original oil painting "Sundowner" features an atmospheric scene of Cape buffalo at sundown. Naylor's limited edition Giclee "Courtship" features a pair of peacocks nestled in the grass. Both works are exceptional and show each artist's dedication to the craft and masterful control over subject and medium.
This donation marks an ongoing partnership between SCI Foundation, Call of Africa's Native Visions Galleries and owner Ross Parker. When asked why he supports SCI Foundation, Parker replied, "Hunting is a God given right, and as such, it is our responsibility to be good stewards of wildlife and the environment to ensure that it's done ethically and sustainably. SCI Foundation shares those objectives, so I choose to support it."
Parker, a former member of the Rhodesian Army Special Forces, grew up hunting in Africa and is a longtime supporter of worldwide conservation campaigns and dedicated to promoting environmentally themed artwork by artists from southern Africa as well as around the world. Parker's keen eye for unique and sophisticated art has propelled Call of Africa's Native Visions Galleries into one of the world's leading and most beautiful environmental art galleries.
