The shooting range at
Algonac State Park in St. Clair County recently reopened after a construction project aimed at improving the visitor experience at the range.
Range improvements include accessible parking, new accessible shooting stations – a six-station shotgun shooting structure and a four-station handgun lane – and concrete target-retrieval paths.
These improvements were made possible, in part, through a federal grant from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Pittman-Robertson funding).
Algonac State Park is located at 8732 River Road in Marine City, Michigan.
