FAIRFAX, Va. — National Deer Alliance (NDA) welcomes Bluffland Whitetails Association as a sponsor to support NDA’s work on deer and hunting policy. This contribution is significant as Bluffland Whitetails is the first grassroots deer hunting organization to offer their support to NDA.
"I am very excited about Bluffland Whitetails (BWA) joining forces with a national organization such as NDA in our journey to deal with CWD in Southeastern Minnesota and beyond. We will be able to make good use of their expertise and resources,” said Jim Vagt, Founding Member of BWA.
"Bluffland Whitetails Association is eager to join arms with NDA as we strive for deer herd health in Southeast Minnesota, and in turn, hopefully help other states achieve a higher level of proper and effective management. With NDA and BWA being built on such similar goals, we feel that BWA will take steps forward for the overall health and balance of the deer herd in zone 300. And with that, NDA can use our successes to help other groups achieve the goals they have set in their areas of focus. It truly is a win-win,” explained Taylor Bestor, BWA president.
“The generous contribution by BWA speaks to not only their level of commitment to ensuring a bright future for whitetails in their area, it’s a testament to their broad concern for deer and our hunting heritage nation-wide. This is a landmark moment for NDA as it is the first contribution by a grassroots deer organization to support our work on deer policy, and we appreciate BWA’s leadership by setting an example for others to follow,” said Nick Pinizzotto, CEO of NDA.
