Columbia, MO – The MidwayUSA Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from shooting teams in their Team Endowment Program. Any youth shooting team with a balance in their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment that did not apply in December is eligible to apply for a cash grant. Applicants must complete the MidwayUSA Foundation grant application, located on their website at midwayusafoundation.org/teamgrants.
“There is one thing all shooting teams can use and that’s cash and our team grants offer just that. We encourage teams to apply for their grant every year. It’s an easy process and we’re here to help every step of the way,” said MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director, Randy Moeller. In February, the MidwayUSA Foundation paid nearly $3 million to 839 shooting teams, the biggest cash grant cycle to date.
Teams with a balance in their Team Endowment are eligible to apply for a team grant every year. Youth shooting teams can receive 5% of their endowment balance to use for shooting team expenses, such as ammunition, travel, entry fees, uniforms, targets, and more. Right now, nearly 2,000 teams are eligible, with a potential payout of $2.7 million. The deadline to apply for a team grant is June 15. Teams interested in their eligibility can emailgrants@midwayusafoundation.org.
