Crimson Trace New Tactical Light Products

(Wilsonville, OR)— Crimson Trace®, recognized as America’s top brand of laser sights in a Southwick Associates industry survey, today announced its entry into the tactical light product category with the launch of five new tactical lights designed for long guns.

Crimson Trace laser sights and tactical lights are well-known by firearms owners for providing quick aiming assistance and enhanced target identification in dark environments. The Oregon-based company has now expanded its light product options to include Crimson Tactical Lights. The new product category includes four touch pad activated LED flashlights that are designed for placement on long guns, but that also serve double duty as detachable, hand-held flashlights. The new tactical lights include two touch pad activated LED lights for long guns equipped with M-Lok® or Keymod™ accessory slots. Also offered in the category is the new Rail Master® tactical light, a compact CMR-208, designed for rail-equipped firearms.

“We are excited about entering this new product category and showcasing our first Crimson Tactical Lights. This news demonstrates our ongoing focus on meeting our customers’ demands and aiding firearms owners in protecting themselves and their families,” said Lane Tobiassen, Crimson Trace President. “Our customers asked, we listened, and the results are four new rail-mounted light products along with a new version of the popular Rail Master series. These affordable lights give firearm owners a number of new options.”

The four new Crimson Trace Tactical lights are constructed with an all-aluminum housing that is black anodized and has a distinct red ring. Each flashlight can be removed from the bracket and used with a standard end cap for activation, or placed into the bracket, secured to a firearm, and operated with an activation pad.

Other standard features of the tactical lights include: Instant Activation™ with tap-on and tap-off engagement and high-output Cree XPL LED lighting, and remote operation pads connected via a single cord. The activation pads can be held securely in place with straps or a 3M double-sided adhesive layer, both of which are included. Operation modes include: high beam, low beam, strobe and momentary output.  All units are waterproof up to 1 meter and are impact resistant.

The new tactical lights include:

*The CWL-200 features a 900- (high beam) and 90- (low beam) Lumen LED white light. This unit is approximately 5 inches long and weighs 4.9 ounces. MSRP is approximately $80.

*The CWL-201 has similar measurements and is designed for firearms with M-Lok and Keymod accessory rail mounting.

*The CWL-100 provides 500 Lumens (high beam) and 50 Lumens LED white light on low beam and will mount on standard M1913 Picatinny or similar rails.

*The CWL-101 tactical light is designed to mount on M-Lok and Keymod accessory slots.

The CWL-100 and CWL-101 tactical lights are only 4-inches long and weigh less than 4 ounces. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Prices begin at $59.99 for the CWL-100 light for rail equipped long guns.

Also new is the latest addition to Crimson Trace’s popular Rail Master laser sights and lights, the CMR-208 LED white light. This firearms mounted tactical light features Instant Activation (tap-on, tap-off) and a 420-Lumen (on high) or 110-Lumen (on low setting) LED white light encased in a black anodized aluminum housing.
