With today's endless choices of optics, one can easily overlook the value of the timeless iron sight. They are rugged, simple, straight forward, and reliable; to be depended on if your red dot or holographic sight goes down. UTG, with a history of providing fixed and folding iron sights returns back to the basics with their recently released AR15 front and rear Super Slim fixed sights.
Precision machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and boasting a matte black finish, the new Super Slim front sights feature glare reducing serrations on the front and back and utilize a standard A2 front post which is interchangeable with other aftermarket posts with equivalent dimensions. Easily securing to any Picatinny rail via a low profile locking plate and single locking Torx screw, the Super Slim front sights lastly feature square-shaped integral recoil stops underneath their bases for a secure zero hold and return to zero and a slim tower profile for mounting ambidextrous weapon lights in front. There are two models to choose from. The low profile model (MT-754X) is designed for installation on same level plane applications. Whereas, the high profile model (MT-750X) is designed for installation on lowered offset gas block applications.
UTG's AR15 Super Slim Rear Sight is designed to be durable, lightweight, and adaptable to any situation. Borrowing from a traditional M16A2 rear sight design and the same design implementations above, this puppy is windage/elevation adjustable and features two aperture sizes for close quarter and long range target engagement and requires no tools for adjustment. It is machined from the same 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with the same durable wear resistant matte black finish as its front sight counterparts.
