CCW Safe, a leader in Self-Defense Legal Coverage, has partnered with Gun Talk Media to produce a compelling new video series that immerses media professionals in real-life-inspired self-defense scenarios. The series aims to highlight the critical importance of comprehensive legal protection for concealed carriers. The third episode of the series debuts February 17, while the first two episodes were released earlier this year. To watch each installment of the series, visit CCW Safe's YouTube channel.
In this innovative project, eight media professionals—including writers, content creators and competitive shooters—were invited to Gun Talk's Range Ready training facility. There, they faced intense, reality-based situations designed to challenge their judgment, skills and assumptions about self-defense.
Through each split-second decision, participants gained a profound understanding of why CCW Safe's services are not just optional but essential for responsible gun owners. The series underscores the necessity of being prepared for the legal complexities that can follow a self-defense incident.
"This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to educating the public on the multifaceted responsibilities of carrying a firearm," said CCW Safe President Kent Brown. "By placing media professionals in these high-pressure scenarios, the series provides an authentic perspective on the challenges faced during self-defense situations and the value of a truly comprehensive legal service such as CCW Safe."
CCW Safe has a history of engaging in educational initiatives. In November 2025, the company launched "The Armed Defender's Dilemma," a 36-lesson series developed by self-defense litigation expert Shawn Vincent. This program bridges the gap between firearm proficiency and the legal complexities of self-defense, offering valuable insights to concealed carriers.
Gun Talk Media has also been proactive in providing educational content. In May 2025, the company launched a dedicated YouTube channel for its "First Person Defender" series. Sponsored by CCW Safe, this series places individuals in real-world self-defense situations to test their responses and decision-making skills.
It promises to be invaluable to anyone interested in understanding the real-world implications of self-defense and the importance of legal preparedness. To watch this all-new series, visit the CCW Safe YouTube channel.
