TUO's Clime Pant returns with new Short and Tall sizing
MUSKEGON, Mich. – Ask any hunter what separates good gear from great gear and fit usually tops the list. You can build a pant with the most advanced fabric on the planet, but if it bunches at the knee or rides up over the boot, none of that matters out in the field. TUO heard that loud and clear from its Clime Pant faithful. So instead of reinventing an already-proven product, the brand did something smarter: it made a great pant fit a lot more hunters.
Proven performance, unchanged
The Clime Pant has been a workhorse in the TUO lineup since it launched, and the reasons why haven't changed. Its 278-gram fabric, a 4-way stretch blend of 93% polyester and 7% spandex, sits right in that sweet spot between athletic and durable, heavy enough to hold up to brush, rock, and long miles, but nowhere near the stiffness or bulk of a true cold-weather pant. That balance is exactly why Clime has become the pant hunters reach for without thinking twice. It's the kind of do-everything piece that earns a spot in the daily rotation the way a good pair of jeans does.
Layered on top of that is a Super DWR treatment, which shrugs off light mist, morning dew, and the odd splash without adding bulk or stiffness. Water tends to bead up and rolls off instead of soaking in right away. Combined with the stretch construction, it's a pant built to disappear on your body, doing its job quietly so you can focus on the hunt instead of your gear.
A new color joins the lineup
There's also a new color on the rack. Storm joins Deadfall, Brome, and TUO's adaptive Verse camouflage pattern, giving hunters another rugged solid option that looks just as at home walking into camp as it does climbing a ridge.

What's new is how it fits. Clime now comes in Short, Regular, and Tall builds, with Regular sizing stretching all the way up to a 44-inch waist. Clime's odor defense starts with Polygiene StayFresh, a permanent, silver-based finish built into the fabric during manufacturing. Rather than sitting on top of the material, it's embedded for the life of the garment. It works by targeting the bacteria that cause odor in the first place, stopping them from developing and multiplying in warm, sweaty fabric before they ever get the chance to stink.
OdorCrunch™ captures what's already there
Where StayFresh handles bacteria, OdorCrunch™ handles everything else. It's a fabric technology built on natural silica particles that physically capture odor molecules, whether they come from sweat, campfire smoke, or the truck stop breakfast on the drive out. Once trapped, those molecules get broken down and neutralized rather than just masked, so the smell doesn't come back. Between the two technologies, hunters get fewer washes and more days in the field on a single pack-in.
The details that made it a favorite
Everything else that made Clime a go-to piece is still there. Articulated knees and an inner thigh gusset keep the fit natural through big strides and awkward stalks. Side-seam vent zips over a breathable mesh lining let hunters vent heat the moment temperatures spike. And seven total pockets, two waist, two zippered cargo, two zippered back, and one knife pocket, keep essentials close without the bulk.
