The Detonator bowfishing broadhead is a unique design which solves the 3 issues bowfishermen face in the bowfishing world. 1) fish removal. 2) holding power. 3) deep diving.
- Fish Removal: The Detonator has retractable barb mechanism. You simply pull the tip of the head forward and the barbs retract into the ferrule. This gives you a smooth head with nothing to catch on. The fish simply slides off. No more twisting and turning tips to remove fish. Just a quick simple pull, slide your fish off and you are ready to shoot again.
- Holding Power: The Detonator is a strong holding head. When striking the fish the tip of the Detonator moves down into the ferrule. The end of the barbs move out both sides of the ferrule ¼ inch. With this sleek profile the Detonator passes through the fish with minimal damage. Upon engaging the fish on retrieval, the barbs are opened to 3 ¼ inch span. This 3 ¼ inch span is now setting on undamaged scales. The fish has to rip and pull through 3 ¼ inch in order to come off the Detonator. No back up shots needed here. No making the fish look like it’s growing quills. The Detonator gives the bowfishermen the greatest chance of landing their fish.
- Deep Diving: The Detonator is a heavy, durable bowfishing broadhead. The weigh coupled with the sleekness of it’s profile ( ¼ inch of barb on both sides of ferrule) cutting through the water allows the Detonator to reach depths unattainable by other heads.
