The International Hunter Education Association–USA (IHEA-USA) announced its return to the 2026 SHOT Show®, hosted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), as well as the ATA Trade Show, hosted by the Archery Trade Association. IHEA-USA’s presence at both events underscores its commitment to strengthening collaboration between the outdoor industry and state wildlife agencies while showcasing new innovations designed to modernize, scale, and support hunter and target-shooter education nationwide.
IHEA-USA continues to expand its suite of educational services, technology tools, and industry partnerships aimed at empowering instructors, supporting conservation programs, and engaging the next generation of safe, ethical hunters and recreational shooters. Attending these major industry shows provides a key opportunity to demonstrate how IHEA-USA is reimagining the connection between industry leaders, NGOs, and state agencies.
“We are looking forward to supporting the NSSF and the ATA by attending the SHOT Show and the ATA Trade Show again this year,” said Alex Baer, Executive Director of IHEA-USA. “IHEA continues to reimagine industry connections to our wildlife agency partners with new scalable education programs for everyone. Events like these provide a valuable opportunity to showcase IHEA’s creativity toward reaching America’s new hunters and target shooters with messages of responsible firearm ownership and hunting.”
In addition to showcasing new education programs, IHEA-USA will share updates on its expanding partnerships with leading manufacturers, conservation organizations, nonprofits, and outdoor industry companies—highlighting how collaborative innovation supports safer participation in the field and at the range.
“I absolutely love getting to meet the industry representatives in person and solidify our current partnerships and new ones in the making,” said Matt Clarey, Director of Business Development and Sales for IHEA-USA. “We are excited to show our partners how we can work together building services and creating solutions for state agencies’ and NGOs’ conservation programs. The partnerships we make help solidify the tradition of hunting for years to come.”
IHEA-USA invites industry partners, state agencies, and media representatives attending SHOT Show or the ATA Trade Show to connect, collaborate, and explore how strategic partnerships can strengthen hunter education and outdoor recreation nationwide.
