IHEA-USA Opens Registration for its 2022 Annual Conference

Lolo, MT — The IHEA-USA announces registration for its 2022 Annual Conference is now open. Because the 2021 virtual conference was successful, the 2022 Conference will be both live in West Palm Beach, Florida for industry professionals and virtual for ALL volunteer Hunter Education Instructors to easily attend.

Scheduled for May 17th-19th, the live conference is at the beautiful Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harborside Place in West Palm Beach. Long-awaited and action-packed, this year’s annual event features keynote speaker Steve Rinella of Meat Eater and a shooting exposition on range day from three-time Olympic gold medalist Vincent Hancock. Additionally, there will be over 20 Educational Sessions and Speakers, new Hunter Education Research Sessions, hands-on field and shooting events, awards, and more.

The 2021 inaugural 50 for 50 Awards, presented by SIG Sauer, which awarded 50 United States Hunter Educators in 2021 for their relentless dedication to Hunter Education will also be awarded in 2022 due to positive response. The recipients of this award are chosen by their peers within their state and epitomize the patience and experience required to devote your time helping others remain safe in the field. Going forward the program will be called the IHEA-USA State Instructor of the Year Award under this perpetual program presented by SIG Sauer.

Alex Baer, Executive Director of the IHEA-USA, stated, “Like everyone in our industry, we’ve been looking forward to comparing solutions and necessary program developments inspired by COVID’s challenges., As a national community, we have taken advantage of trying times to continue our own learning by performing a variety of empirical research that we will present at the conference and we believe will help state fish & wildlife agencies and educators create more successful and committed new hunters.”

There are many other conference sponsorship opportunities still available to manufacturers.
