Southwest Idaho currently has 14 instructor-led courses slated to start in August or September, with more to come. Among the upcoming offerings in the Southwest Region are Hunter Education Certification, Hunter & Bowhunter (Combo) Education Certification, Trapper Education Certification, and Wolf Trapper Certification.

South Carolina students taking the online hunter safety course at hunter-ed.com/southcarolina will find several new features that make this state-approved training even more fun and convenient.

Last year, HUNTERcourse.com and Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures teamed up to create the Jim Shockey Dream Hunt, a one-of-a-kind hunting expedition for new hunter education graduates. In January 2013, one HUNTERcourse.com graduate and his or her field day instructor will travel to the legendary Nail Ranch in Albany, Texas where they will be paired up with Jim Shockey to hunt 30,000 acres of prime hog and whitetail territory.

There is a limited supply of firearm training sets available, but for those who purchase them, there are unlimited opportunities to provide students with training that is hands-on and safe.

The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission recently honored 12 hunter education instructors from across the state who had achieved 1,000 volunteer hours or more of service.

The California Department of Fish and Game's (DFG) Advanced Hunter Education Program is offering a bear hunting clinic February 13, at the Diamond Springs Memorial Hall in the town of Diamond Springs, California.

With Alabama's hunting season only a short time away, those who need to complete a hunter education class are encouraged to enroll in one now. The course provides a foundation for novice hunters and an excellent refresher for experienced hunters.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is offering a free hunter safety course in Okaloosa County.
